Case Study: Creating Festive Social Media Content for Aura Home

Come behind the scenes of our Melbourne social media agency as we created some magical Christmas content for our homewares and interiors client, Aura Home.

In a collaboration that blended creativity with holiday cheer, we set out to curate social media content that not only showcased Aura Home's gorgeous range of gifting items and decorations, but that captured the cheer and warmth of the season to appeal to Australian home and design lovers.

To connect with Aura Home's audience on a personal level, we invited them along with the team as they set up the stores for Christmas. Through captivating behind-the-scenes footage, we unveiled the meticulous preparation that goes into creating the perfect holiday setting. This not only humanised the brand but also provided a glimpse into the craftsmanship and dedication behind the brand.

Beautiful Social Media Photography:

As Aura Home are a design brand, the aesthetics of the feed are really important. We focused on capturing really premium photography that would get people excited for the festive season and want to shop Aura Home products to recreate the look.

When creating social media photography for our clients, we’re happy to come to you! We took our kit and lighting to the Aura Home stores to capture gorgeous shots within this beautiful environment. Everything is done with the aim of capturing the audience’s attention and inspiring them to come into store to browse or shop online.

How to content:

For this campaign, we researched what kind of content traditionally does well during the festive period and concluded that ‘how to’ content and tutorials are great at adding value to the audience, increasing engagement, and boosting sales of the featured product. We know that any content that encourages saves, sends and comments gets treated favourably by the Instagram algorithm, so we were sure to create just this type of content. From ‘how to style your Christmas tree’ to ‘how to wrap a gift the Aura Home way’, we were sure to tap into the core content pillars of the brand, while promoting sales of their Chrismas items.
